About the Journal

The Journal of the Modern Art History Department Faculty of Philosophy University of Belgrade publishes the results of recent and relevant scientific research in the fields of 20th and 21st-century art history and visual culture, art theory, film history and theory, cultural studies, and related scientific disciplines.

The journal is issued once a year and includes articles in both Serbian and English in print and electronic editions. The journal publishes original research papers, review articles, scientific critiques, and book and exhibition reviews.

The Journal of the Modern Art History Department Faculty of Philosophy University of Belgrade is available as an Open Access Journal. All articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license. 

The Journal of the Modern Art History Department Faculty of Philosophy University of Belgrade  does not charge any publication fees. Both the manuscript submission and processing services, and the article publication services are free of charge.
